I am going to try blogging this trip as I go. I will add picture tomorrow but I have to get them off Kirsten's Camera.  

Day 1 August 9, 2008

The wheels on the van go round and round and round and round and round and round.....

We got together at the Church at about ten and loaded the van, every nook and cranny of the van. Deb came to see us off and lead us prayer just before we left. 

Today had adventures with electronics. Bob and Bard brought their Garner GPS system. Kirsten and I named it Tilly. She gets a bit 
snippy when we decide not to listen to her. She give a petulant little "Recalculating" when you decide to ignore her. To give credit where it is due , She did pull through in the end and get us to the hotel. Thank you Tilly.

Mostly we talked and listened to music from my iPod. We also managed to lose Kirsten's Phone in the van. Neat trick huh.  I finally found 
it I had been sitting on it to keep it warm.

Things will get more interesting as the week progresses.
